Calm & Grounded – Niika talks with Andrea Ferretti on YogaLand Podcast
Andrea Ferretti was my first editor at Yoga Journal Magazine.
We used to tussle a bit over editorial content. Her job was to get me to write something short, actionable and peppy. All I wanted was to make sure readers were grasping Ayurveda’s principles, so every reader could learn to make their own decisions, instead of hop from “tip to tip.”
Back in the day, we’d sometimes laugh together about how lonnnng a day would have to be in order to fit in all the health and beauty tips found in the pages of even a single magazine!
Can you imagine? (But oh, how you’d glow!)
When Andrea interviewed me for the YogaLand podcast she creates with internationally-recognized vinyasa yoga teacher Jason Crandell, we wanted to focus right in on something you’d find truly valuable.
We’ve both noticed women talking about feeling overwhelmed and anxious these days–AND we both know first hand how crazy life can get sometimes!
So we settled in to talk about how responding with common-sense Ayurvedic wisdom can right your state when you’re feeling ungrounded, stressed or upset.
Warning– Yes! I offer tips! But you don’t have to do them all. Just choose a suggestion you resonate with, and try it out the next time you want to calm your nervous system down and restore your balance.
Andrea’s so insightful and engaging–and always willing to share her own experience. We had a great time reuniting and sharing stories.
Of course, you’re invited to click on over and >>>listen in on our chat!
After you listen to the YogaLand episode, we’d love to hear from you, too!
What’s your favorite way to calm down and get grounded?
